By car: from motorway E411 (Brussels-Luxembourg) take exit 23. Follow signs for Han-sur-Lesse, that means at the corner of the big rose hotel you turn right. The first village is the village of Ave. At the church you turn left and go up the hill. Turn in the (dangerous) curve to the left and follow the signs for 'Le Roptai' up the hill. http://maps.google.be/

Public transport: get off the train at the station of Rochefort-Jemelle at 12.39pm 5.39pm or 7.39pm from Brussels (train towards Luxembourg). At those times, the whole year through a bus departs, number 29 at 12.45pm, 5.45pm or 7.45pm direction Wellin/Grupont. Get off the bus after 20 minutes at Ave-Eglise (ask the driver) and walk up the hill for 1 kilometer (follow signs for Le Roptai).
